We had a wonderful city break in this hotel. The ski center is located just next to the hotel, making it very convenient for ski enthusiasts. The hotel also offers a lovely outdoor onsen and delicious meals at the restaurant. We especially enjoyed the traditional dishes served during breakfast. the staff members were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay.
The hotel should provide better instructions for their shuttle bus pick-up location. On a positive note, the reception staff were extremely helpful in assisting us when we were lost.

Gorgeous onsen, perfect for post-snow relaxation. The incredible outdoor onsen was a truly unforgettable experience, soaking in the hot water while snowing. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has everything a luxury traveller could ask for. From exclusive amenities to private facilities, everything was on point. The public hot spring bath and open-air bath were the icing on the cake. The massages were also relaxing and perfect after a day of skiing.
The only slight downside was the restaurant service. The staff was not very fluent in English which made it a bit difficult to communicate and order.

Located in a hillside, the hotel is a short walk to the main gondola lift for skiing. Onsen baths are beautifully crafted with wood and rock for relaxing après-ski. Guests rave about the delicious Japanese meals on offer at the restaurant and the friendly staff.
Limited Wi-Fi availability in the rooms.

Delicious dinner, stunning hillside location, charming mix of western and Japanese style rooms, tranquil Onsen with snowy surroundings, accommodating and patient staff, complimentary coffee/tea area.
Nothing, it is perfect.

The mountain view from the room was breathtaking, and the hot spring was very relaxing and had a soothing effect on my muscles. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, even though they spoke limited English. I enjoyed the traditional aspect of the hotel, without feeling overwhelmed by cultural differences.
Although the hotel offered a discount for ski passes, the check-in process was a bit disorganized and took longer than expected. I found the offsite options for dinner to be somewhat limited, which made it difficult to find something to eat in the area.

Great hotel with amazing staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The onsen facilities were incredible with private baths available to reserve. The hotel is located right next to the ski area and also close to the town's main centre.
No issues.
